Joe Banana Italy's Terms & Conditions

 

All purchases made through this website or over the phone with our customer service are subject to the following Terms & Conditions.

For any and all bookings, the person making the reservation shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all guests listed in the booking.

No variation to these Terms & Conditions shall be valid unless made in writing and authorized by the authority of the company.

Upon payment and confirmation of the booking, all guests agree to comply fully with this Terms & Conditions Policy.

Should any doubt or dispute regarding these Terms & Conditions arise prior to booking, guests are requested to contact the company before confirming their reservation.

All services are fulfilled and provided by Joe Banana Limos & Travel S.R.L. Certain elements of the services may be provided by third parties under contract with Joe Banana Limos & Travel S.R.L.

The Company shall not be held responsible for information clearly stated in the FAQ section that the client fails to read (e.g., meeting locations at train stations, airports, cruise terminals, etc.). It is the client’s sole responsibility to be informed of the exact meeting point, which can be found in the dedicated section or requested directly from the Company via email.

 


GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Bookings

It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking. Be advised that we require 24 to 48 hours to process the reservations.
If clients have independently purchased tickets or additional experiences, they must inform us in advance. Joe Banana Limos & Travel S.R.L. cannot be held responsible if, due to unforeseen events beyond our control, any of these experiences cannot be carried out.

Promotional Codes

Payments

JBL & Travel is able to accept the following payment methods:
Euro cash the day of the service or via credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express) before the scheduled service, as per our payment methods. Your credit card will be charged in Euro currency.

In the event of a no-show, if you have chosen to pay in Euro cash on the day of the service, Joe Banana Limos & Travel S.R.L. reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for the full amount due.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be requested in writing via email. The date of cancellation will be based on Italian standard time.

Ticket Purchases:
If we purchase tickets on your behalf, either at the time of booking or once they become available for sale, please note that they are non-refundable. Ticket availability cannot be guaranteed and may be affected by limited supply, internal strikes, or unforeseen closures due to factors beyond our control.

Vehicle Conditions

For groups above 7 passengers, vehicles may vary based on location and availability:

Force Majeure

In case of closures or disruptions caused by force majeure (e.g., strikes, weather conditions, or natural events), the Company will do its best to offer suitable substitutions, reschedule the service, or provide refunds, at its sole discretion, subject to availability and in compliance with the other points of the terms and conditions.

Last-Minute Bookings

 For bookings made less than 4 days before the requested service, a 20% surcharge will apply.

Night Services Surcharge

Kindly be informed that an additional 20% charge applies to services provided between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

 “Price Starts From”

Prices shown on the website represent the lowest possible per-person rate, which depends on group size, departure and arrival locations and the means of transport provided.

Photos & Videos

By participating in our tours, you consent to the Company capturing photos and videos for promotional purposes (website, social media, brochures, etc.). If you prefer not to appear in such materials, please notify us in writing before your tour.
We respect clients’ privacy and dignity and will ensure no content harms your image or reputation.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TRANSFER SERVICES

Luggage Policy

Each guest is allowed 1 standard suitcase + 1 carry-on.
To ensure proper vehicle assignment, especially for groups of 2 or 7/8 guests, clients are required to provide the exact number of luggage items they will be traveling with, specifying both large (e.g., suitcases) and small (e.g., carry-ons or backpacks) pieces. Failure to disclose accurate luggage information in advance may result in insufficient space in the vehicle and could affect the quality or feasibility of the service. For safety reasons, and in accordance with Italian law, drivers are not allowed to place luggage on passenger seats. This also helps preserve the vehicle's interior.
If the luggage cannot be safely accommodated, a separate taxi for the bags may be required at your expense.

Delays & Missed Transfers

 Joe Banana Limos & Travel is not responsible for missed transfers caused by events beyond its control, including flight or train delays, time spent reporting lost or damaged luggage or additional time required to clear security checks and customs.

If your arrival is delayed and you miss a scheduled transfer, the Company will assist with alternative arrangements, but the original cost is non-refundable and any additional expenses will be at your charge.

Clients are responsible for having valid travel documents and arriving on time at the designated meeting point. No refund will be issued for missed services, and Joe Banana Limos & Travel cannot be held liable for missed flights, trains, ships or lost luggage.

In the event of any delay on the client’s part, whether due to flights, trains, or other unforeseen circumstances, the assigned guide will wait a maximum of 30 minutes beyond the scheduled start time. After this period, the guide will be released and the service will be considered delivered. If the client wishes to continue the tour thereafter, a new reservation will be required, subject to full payment and guide availability.

Waiting Time and Delay Fees

Flights:
1 hour of complimentary waiting time is included from the time selected in the booking form.
In the event that no pick-up time is specified, the Company reserves the right to determine the pick-up time based on the scheduled arrival time of the flight.
After the first hour, additional waiting time will be charged at a rate of 65€ per hour or fraction thereof for a sedan and 80€ per hour or fraction thereof for a minivan.
Delays exceeding 1 hour may result in the cancellation of the service and no refund will be issued.

Trains & Ferries:
30 minutes of complimentary waiting time is included from the time selected in the booking form.
In the event that no pick-up time is specified, the Company reserves the right to determine the pick-up time based on the scheduled arrival time of the train.
After the 30 minutes, additional waiting time will be charged at a rate of 65€ per hour or fraction thereof for a sedan and 80€ per hour or fraction thereof for a minivan.
Delays exceeding 30 minutes may result in the cancellation of the service and no refund will be issued.

Accommodations:
10 minutes of complimentary waiting time is included from the time selected in the booking form. 
It is the client’s responsibility to provide the preferred pick-up time. Should the Company not receive this information at least 72 hours prior to the service date, the service will be considered a no-show.
After the 10 minutes, additional waiting time will be charged at a rate of 65€ per hour or fraction thereof for a sedan and 80€ per hour or fraction thereof for a minivan.
Delays exceeding 10 minutes may result in the cancellation of the service and no refund will be issued.

Please note: Clients must promptly inform the company of schedule changes or delays.
No prior notice will be given before charging the additional fee. The credit card provided at the time of booking will be automatically charged. In the event of a significant delay or cancellation of a flight or train, the client must inform the company as soon as possible.

If Joe Banana Limos & Travel is unable to reschedule the service, we reserve the right to cancel it if the delay exceeds the complimentary waiting time. The company is committed to flexibility and will always strive to accommodate clients’ needs. However, if the service is operated by one of our partners and incurs additional costs, late arrival fees cannot be waived.

Please note: that the driver is not required, under any circumstances, to be present in the event that your flight or train arrives earlier than the scheduled arrival time. Our services are scheduled in advance based on the official arrival times available at that time.

Company Liability

The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage or additional costs incurred due to flight or train delays, cancellations or schedule changes. While Joe Banana Limos & Travel will make every effort to accommodate delayed or anticipated arrivals, service cannot be guaranteed beyond the conditions outlined herein.

We strongly recommend that clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, delays, medical expenses, lost luggage, missed services caused by tardiness, failure to meet at the designated pick-up point or client negligence, as well as other unforeseen events. This applies to flights, trains, private transfers, guides and other services arranged by the company.

The company and its partners shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, disruptions or closures due to force majeure.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TOURS & BOAT TOURS

Included Experiences

All tours include a private driver/skipper and vehicle/boat.
Where indicated, private licensed guides are also included.
Certain experiences (such as pizza or cooking classes, lemon tours, etc.) may be shared with small groups of up to 12 participants, unless a private version is requested at the time of booking for an additional cost.

Yacht Services

Cancellations for yacht services are penalty-free up to 30 days prior to the scheduled date. To proceed with the reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required, with the remaining balance due 7 days before the scheduled date.

Missed or Delayed tours

In case of delay, clients must contact the company directly. The waiting time will be deducted from the total duration of the tour. 
After 10 minutes of unreported delay, the service will be considered a no show and no refund will be issued.

Vehicles for day tours

Please be advised that tours and cruise port services for more than 7 passengers will be operated either with multiple minivan or with a minibus. This depends not only on vehicle availability but also on the access restrictions of each city.

Cruise Ship Docking Changes

If the cruise ship does not dock due to circumstances beyond your control, depending on the payment method chosen at the time of booking, you will either not be charged or receive a full refund for the tour, in compliance with the other points of our Terms and Conditions. Alternatively, the Company will do its best to reschedule your service based on availability and the cruise ship’s schedule.
If your cruise ship docks at a different nearby port, for example, La Spezia instead of Livorno, we will adjust the pickup location accordingly; however, a fee will apply for the change of port. Should the guest refuse to pay the additional fee, the service will be considered a No-Show. In this case, depending on the payment method selected at the time of booking, the corresponding amount will either be charged or no refund will be issued for the tour.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ITALY TOUR PACKAGES

Custom Tour Design Fee

The company provides a custom tour design service that includes up to two complimentary customized tour proposals. If a guest wishes to modify an itinerary beyond the second proposal, a non-refundable service fee of 500€ will apply. This fee will be collected via credit card payment and, upon booking, will be deducted from the total amount due for the tour service.

Payments

• A 30% deposit is due upon confirmation and can be made either via wire transfer or credit card
• Remaining 70% balance due 30 days before the first day of service
• Failure to pay may result in cancellation without refund
• In the event of a no-show, the company reserves the right not to issue any refund

Pricing Policy

We take great pride in crafting personalized travel experiences that reflect the unique preferences and interests of our clients. As a result of this bespoke approach, our tour packages are thoughtfully designed and include a variety of elements that together create the overall experience. However, please note that we do not provide a detailed price breakdown for our all-inclusive Italy tours.

The total cost of our customized Italy tours generally includes all planned activities, accommodations, transportation and services specified in your itinerary. Our pricing is all-inclusive, reflecting the quality, convenience and exclusivity that define our travel experiences.

Cancellations

Written cancellation notice must be received at least 30 days before the tour start date. Cancellations after that period are non-refundable.
If tickets have already been purchased, their cost is non-refundable and will be charged automatically.
In the event that the tour includes elements or services with cancellation policies that differ from those of the company, the client will be promptly informed and may choose whether or not to proceed with the inclusion of such elements in the tour.

By proceeding with the booking of our customized Italy tour, you acknowledge and agree to our pricing policy as outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
